Andy Binning: Andy graduated from Queens College in 1990 with BSc Physiotherapy Studies. His special interest in physiotherapy was sports injury and this led him into the world of football. Andy has been physiotherapist to several football clubs including Alloa Athletic FC, East Stirling FC , and more recently St Mirren FC. In 1998 he opened The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre, which has gone from strength to strength resulting in the highly acclaimed clinic which we are running today.
Pauline Rankin: Pauline graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with BSc (hons) Physiotherapy in 1995. She began her career as a junior physiotherapist working at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley before moving on to Southern General Hospital where she gained further experience at junior level. Pauline then moved to Florida where she worked as a physiotherapist in a rehabilitation hospital. On her return to Britain she worked at Govanhill Health Centre as a Senior 2 physio but quickly gained a promotion and moved down south to work in South Cheshire Hospital. In 2001 Pauline began a Senior 2 post working at BMI Sloane hospital which then led to her promotion to Deputy Manager and then Acting Manager for a spell. In 2004 Pauline took up her post at The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre on a part time basis.
Lorne Alexander: Lorne graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007 with BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. She has worked in the clinic ever since and has gained post-grad qualifications in acupuncture, orthopaedic medicine, whiplash affected disorder and Pilates. Lorne is responsible for the running of our popular Pilates classes which are specially modified to prevent the onset of the recurrence of back and neck pain. The classes are available to both patients and the public alike and help to improve core stability, increase postural awareness and is also an excellent means of keeping fit under the expert eye of a health professional.
May Milroy: May graduated as a nurse from Glasgow Caledonian University with BA Nursing with distinction. After several years working as a staff nurse she trained as a midwife. Following the arrival of her family she gave up working to look after her children for a few years and It was during this time that she came to work in The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre. May both organises the clinic and deals with reception.
