Should you wish to discuss your problem with a physiotherapist or to book an appointment you can call us on 0141 561 0358. You can also email us at abphysio@hotmail.com. Referrals are not required, however some private medical insurance policies do specify that a GP referral is necessary so please check with your provider.
What To Expect On Your First Visit
On your first visit you will be introduced to the physiotherapist who will then take note of your details and information specific to your problem. This will be followed by a thorough examination where your range of movement will be assessed and diagnostic tests carried out which are specific to your symptoms.
This should enable the physiotherapist to provide you with a diagnosis accompanied by an explanation and if relevant a choice of treatments which are available to you.
There are no time limits on your treatment sessions and each patient receives individual treatments which are tailored to their needs.
As your session ends you will be given the opportunity to ask questions and you may well be taught some exercises to carry out at home or given some advice on postural or ergonomic modifications which will aid your recovery.
