Who

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent service and believe that the people who make up our team are key to making The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre an approachable, friendly and responsive organisation. Whatever the cause of your problem whether due to sporting activities, work related disorders, accidental or long term problems you can benefit from our skills and experience.

Allow me to introduce our team:

Andy Binning

Andy graduated from Queens College in 1990 with BSc Physiotherapy Studies. His special interest in physiotherapy was sports injury and it was this that led him into the world of football. Over the next few years Andy was physiotherapist to several different football clubs including Alloa Athletic FC, East Stirling FC , and more recently St Mirren FC. In 1998 Andy decided to open The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre which has gone from strength to strength resulting in the highly acclaimed clinic which we are running today.

Yvonne Anderson

Yvonne graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1997 with BSc (hons) Physiotherapy. Since graduating Yvonne has gained most of her experience working at The Royal Alexandria Hospital where she has gone form junior physiotherapist to extended scope practitioner which is what she is doing today. All this as well as senior physiotherapist at Paisley Physiotherapy Centre where she also carries out the role of Pilates Instructor.

Claire Murray

Claire graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2003 with BSC (hons) Physiotherapy. She began her career working in Inverclyde Royal Hospital as a basic grade physio within the outpatient and neuro rehabilitation unit. She then took on a more varied role at Hairmyres Hospital covering all of the areas within the hospital before her promotion to Senior 2 physio. Throughout this time Claire had been working in The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre on a part time basis but in 2006 she became responsible for providing physiotherapy services to Babcock Naval Service on behalf of The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre.

Pauline Rankin

Pauline graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with BSc (hons) Physiotherapy in 1995. She began her career as a junior physiotherapist working at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley before moving on to Southern General Hospital where she gained further experience at junior level. It was at this point that Pauline moved to Florida where she worked as a physiotherapist in a rehabilitation hospital. On her return to Britain she worked at Govanhill Health Centre as a Senior 2 physio but quickly gained a promotion and moved down south to work in South Cheshire Hospital. In 2001 Pauline began a Senior 2 post working at BMI Sloane hospital which then led to her promotion to Deputy Manager and then Acting Manager for a spell. In 2004 Pauline accepted a post in The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre on a part time basis and is now responsible for providing physiotherapy services to The Edrington Group on behalf of the clinic.

Lorne Dixon

Lorne graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with BSc (hons) Physiotherapy in 2007. She has only recently began her post as Junior Physiotherapist in the Paisley Physiotherapy Centre.

May Hinds

Following the arrival of her family she gave up working to look after the children for a few years. It was during this time that she came to work in The Paisley Physiotherapy Centre organising the clinic and dealing with reception.

All of our physiotherapists are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professional Council.
